Wicklow Treaty 1921

To mark the centenary of the Anglo-Irish Treaty of 1921, the National Archives of Ireland is touring an exhibition around the country. The Treaty 1921 exhibition is at Wicklow Library and Archives, The Mall, Wicklow Town, from 25 April until 17 May 2022 (hours as noted above). There is an associated series of public talks at Wicklow County Buildings, Station Road, Whitegates, Wicklow Town, details as follows:


27 April, 7pm, Dr Cormac Moore, Dublin City Historian-in-Residence, The Anglo-Irish Treaty

4 May, 7pm, Sean Murphy, Historian and Genealogist, Robert Barton and the 1921 Anglo-Irish Treaty

11 May, 7pm, Lisa Dolan, Archivist, Military Archives, Wicklow during the War of Independence and Civil War - a guide to sources in the Military Archives
